House Visagie, Melkbosstrand

Our clients at this project literally found diamond in the rough. Rough because the home had suffered from years of badly executed additions and a diamond as one could ask for a better location that is bathed in West Coast charm and incredible living.

Impeccably re-designed by Fred Muller from Krige & Muller Architects this project was managed by the Renov8it team of Jonathan Baker and Hein Engelbrecht who did a fantastic job by gutting the property and building something truly spectacular.

Our role in this project was significant and every room in the house had a fresh new piece of joinery added.

The Niemann kitchen was designed from the ground up as the centrepiece of the home, with views across the lounge through to the ocean and views into the newly created wine cellar housing 600 bottles of reds and whites.

The main bedroom for us is the feature piece of this build as it’s a self-contained sanctuary away from the ground level. It has been decorated tastefully with whites, greys and our favourite is the fresh Metro textured boards that has livened the room up.

This was a great build, it through challenges daily but the end result has been so worth it.
